Business logic lived in a custom theme, so the theme could never be replaced. We moved it into a site plugin, then rebuilt the catalog taxonomy, the landing pages, the product page, and the inventory model on top of it.
Off Shopify, then into something Shopify couldn't have done.
A hardware kit that ships out and comes back, sold through utility partners who each want their own pricing. We migrated it off Shopify, then built the rental billing engine and the partner program Shopify has no room for.

We rebuilt the system that turns their orders into daily work sheets for the studio, then found why the site kept falling over during ad pushes. It was never the customers.

CBD is regulated state by state and product by product, and the rules move. Checkout enforces them at the line-item level and explains itself when it blocks a sale.
The store is also the front door to the video library.
Memberships unlock the streaming classes, which makes a checkout bug and a content-access bug the same bug. We migrated the legacy library in, track what every member watches, and keep the gate working.

We built the learning platform, the member hub, and the monthly magazine on WooCommerce, plus the installment billing underneath. In a store like this the interesting bugs are financial.
